: Had 2 beautiful rooms, well appointed and scrupulously clean. Booked because of proximity to Royal Infirmary as visiting family member in hospital. Also very convenient for bus route into city centre.

: Good value for money. The reviews that talk about the very early breakfast are accurate. The owners say this is for people who are getting up early for the hospital, so do be aware of this when you decide to book. That aside, rooms were clean and tidy, bed was comfortable, furnishings and ensuite were of high quality. The lodge is located on a convenient bus route from the centre of the city/train station but there isn't much in the immediate vicinity so consider your evening food options carefully/in advance. That said, I ordered pizza delivery without any trouble. Good wifi.
: Early breakfast - given the feedback on here it would be worth considering if a non-hot food option could be made available to those not needing to leave so early in the morning.
